Dear Colleague,

The festive season is in full swing for many of us – so we would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your interest in our products and in our newsletter.

In this last newsletter 2016 the new Editor-in-Chief of our journal European Journal of Psychological Assessment says a few words about his plans – and we congratulate the winners of our customer survey prize drawing.

Happy Holidays and all the best for the new year!

Sincerely,

Your Hogrefe Publishing Team

Hogrefe customer survey:
A big “thank you” to all who participated and congratulations to the prize drawing winners!

We were delighted to receive feedback from numerous people in our customer survey that ran during October and November. Responses came in from throughout the world, including North and South America, Europe, Asia, Middle East, and Africa – so a big “thank you” to everyone who completed the survey.

Many people also signed up for the prize drawing, which took place in our offices Tuesday December 6, and resulted in 6 winners from 6 different countries! Congratulations to all our winners: J. Karppi (Finland), A.M. Leitão Moreira (Portugal), J. Schaeff (Canada), G. Vleioras (Greece), and S. Wainright (USA), who each won a voucher to spend on Hogrefe publications, and to F. Conesa Beltran (Spain), who won an iPad Air.

Thanks once again to everyone who completed the survey – and please don’t hesitate to contact us or give us feedback at any time, via any of the usual channels.

Spotlights on...

This fall we introduced a new section called “Spotlights on” to our website.
This feature keeps you up to date with interviews, articles, and commentaries. Check out the latest interview with Konrad Michel on the Attempted Suicide Short Intervention Program (ASSIP) or read the articles on ADHD: Swichting clonidine to guanfacine XR – The new switcheroo by Dean Elbe and Overdiagnosis of ADHD? A global snapshot of diagnostic validity, prevalence, and concerns by Brian P. Daly and Ke Ding.

New Editor-in-Chief for European Journal of Psychological Assessment

Starting December 12, 2016, Samuel Greiff, Luxembourg, took over the position of Editor-in-Chief for the European Journal of Psychological Assessment: “Over the past few years the European Journal of Psychological Assessment (EJPA) has developed into one of the world’s leading assessment journals, publishing outstanding research from various fields of psychology. The wide range of subjects and methods is a unique feature of the journal, and at the same time a challenge. The growth in the journal’s reputation and the associated increase in high-quality submissions have also led us to decide to increase the number of issues we publish, from 4 to 6 issues per year, starting in 2017. I am greatly looking forward to meeting these challenges as the new Editor-in-Chief – with the help of our great Editorial Board!”
