The Early Sociocognitive Battery assessment – coming soon to the U.S.!

The U.S. version of this new and innovative assessment for preschool children – the Early Sociocognitive Battery (ESB) will be ready this spring. The ESB helps school psychologists screen for language and social communication difficulties, and can also be used by speech and language therapists, clinical and educational psychologists, and pediatricians.

Come and ask us questions about the new assessment either at the upcoming NASP 2023 Annual Convention (find us at our booth – #207/209) or contact us by phone or email. We have lots of exciting events coming up at the conference; read below for more information.

Work with us on data collection

Join us at Hogrefe as a field examiner or collaborative institution and help us collect data on children and adolescents. This spring we are working with the IDS-2, a global cognitive assessment of children from ages 5-20 designed to identify their knowledge, strengths, and relevant areas for development. The test covers intelligence, executive functions, psychomotor skills, social-emotional competence, basic school skills, and motivation and work attitude. And, we are collecting data on a self-report assessment of emotion regulation strategies (FEEL-KJ) focused on sadness, fear and anger with children and adolescents aged 10-20 years.
